A video of a premature beluga whale calf swimming with its mother has surfaced on the internet.
An adorable video of a newborn beluga whale swimming with its mother has surfaced on the internet. It is the most heartwarming thing you will watch today.
A beluga whale named Naya gave birth to twins in a rare occurrence. Sadly, the second calf was stillborn. However, the surviving twin is premature and is already swimming with its mother.
Shedd Aquarium took to Twitter to share the endearing moment with their followers. “In a historical birth, Naya had twins-an incredibly rare occurrence.
While the second half was, sadly, stillborn, the surviving calf is just the second known instance of a surviving twin. At just 66-pounds, the tiny calf is premature but is already swimming with mom (sic),” they wrote in the caption.
